✨ What You’ll Do:
Be at the heart of our finance team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while contributing to long-term growth.
Manage and update financial records (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero)
Oversee accounts payable and ensure timely payments
Reconcile bank statements and maintain cash flow
Prepare monthly reports and assist in budgeting
Monitor invoices and enforce internal compliance
Support audit processes with accurate records
Collaborate across departments for clear, strategic reporting

Experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero)

Sales & Supplier Associate – Help Power Growth at JDS Gardening Services Edinburgh
Full-time role | Salary: £33,000 – £35,000 + bonus opportunity Based in Roslin, EH25 9RE

At JDS Gardening Services, we’re not just planting trees and laying turf – we’re building one of Scotland’s fastest-growing multi-service companies, with a mission to scale smartly across landscaping, property, and seasonal ventures.
As our new Sales & Supplier Associate, you’ll be the linchpin between customers, suppliers, and our internal teams. It’s a fast-paced role where no two days are the same – but every task you do will drive real results.
What You’ll Do
From keeping costs lean to helping us win work, your role is all about supporting smart decisions and seamless operations.
Handle incoming leads across platforms like Facebook, Trusted Trader, Checkatrade, and more
Handle all e-quoting for the business
Manage the organisation of (and help) during shed deliveries to the yard
Route sales enquiries to the right people and ensure fast follow-up
Build strong relationships with our suppliers and negotiate better deals
Work closely with our CEO to cut material costs by at least 5%
Manage stock at the yard – timber, soil, ironmongery, and more – making sure we’re always prepared.
Coordinate plant and equipment hire, keeping projects moving and on budget
Prepare annual maintenance quote packages for 2026 clients
Step in as 2nd-line phone support when needed – friendly, calm, and on the ball
Help the finance team by processing receipts and flagging supplier discrepancies
What We’re Looking For
This is a role for someone who’s proactive, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-moving environment.
Experience in a coordination, admin, or supplier-facing role
Confident communicator – both with customers and suppliers
Great at organising data, tracking stock, and keeping tabs on moving parts
Happy working independently and closely with leadership
Comfortable using systems like Jobber, Excel, or CRM tools (we’ll train where needed)
A keen eye for saving money and solving problems
