JDS Gardening Services is a local accredited company that has been landscaping and maintaining gardens throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians for a number of years. More recntly we have created a waste services division, and now collect household rubbish, garden waste and junk, builders and construction waste, electrical waste, and waste from offices and commercial premises in Edinburgh. We are available all year round, our small team of knowledgeable, motivated gardeners and tree surgeons offers a wide range of services, from grass & hedge cutting, tree surgery and stump grinding services, hooked fence planters, garden ready pots, hanging baskets, window boxes, garden fencing contractor, power washing to pointing and complete garden design & soft landscaping. At JDS gardening we are committed sustainable practices, and we take our corporate social responsibility very seriously, and one of our goals is to reduce our carbon footprint and reach an overall net zero in carbon emissions. A first important step towards this is making the switch to electric tools. Not only is the energy cleaner but they create a lot less noise pollution- meaning our team do not require ear defenders and we are less intrusive to the general public! The next steps are to entirely replace all our petrol tools with electric alternatives. Following this our van fleet will also eventually transition into an electric model. JDS Gardening are also committed to recycling 100% of the green waste that we collect in the course of our daily garden maintenance schedules, all of our green waste is disposed off and recycled at Forth Resource Management at Todd Hills in Edinburgh.
