JDS recently completed this back garden levelling project for a domestic client in the Blackford area of Edinburgh.
The first phase of the garden levelling project was taking delivery of 50T of premium top soil!JDS Gardening took care of all the logistics and arranged for the delivery of the topsoil. The supporting wall was an original feature but we installed drainage throughout the wall to ensure the water runs off correctly and the new garden lawn doesn't become waterlogged.
This Edinburgh garden levelling project also involved treating and preparing the soil for the installation of new turf in the coming weeks.Our Edinburgh garden levelling team used a cultivator to break up the existing soil to help improve the soil health and allow for better planting. The health of the soil was further helped by spreading a thin layer of topsoil and sharp sand to help the fresh turf root properly once we lay it in the coming weeks.
