JDS Gardening were originally contacted to help create a more natural environment for the kids to play. After discussions, JDS Gardening were awarded the contract to upgrade the play area.
The JDS Gardening team removed all the artificial grass and replaced it with play bark and also installed the old tractor tyres into the ground so they were safe for the kids to play on. We also installed a fire pit area for the kids to toast marshmallows with the help of the Nursery teachers. JDS also built the T-Pee hut so the children had a den to play in and the logs around the perimeter of the play area are all at different heights so the kids can learn to step over obstacles and risk assess.
