JDS Gardening are proud sponsors of Alexander and Oliver Short from Edinburgh.
JDS Gardening is proud to announce the official sponsorship of Alexander Short and Oliver Short two Edinburgh based Elite level Judokas.
Alex and Ollie are long standing members of the Scottish and British Judo Association team, with multiple national and international medals between them. They are also JDS staff members who have been supported by flexible working hours and irregular shift opportunities by JDS Gardening for many years. However, now as they set sights on the Paris and LA Olympic cycles Josh Dow managing director of JDS Gardening has decided to step up the support.
Josh said “Alex & Ollie are a pleasure to work with and I am delighted to help give them opportunities to pursue their dreams. I hope JDS gardening can help send these boys to the very top and give the local community something to be proud of!”

On Ollie’s selection he said:
“It’s really great to have the opportunity to compete at such an event - especially in the last year I am eligible to do so. I have been able to improve a lot in the last year with some top quality training opportunities and guidance. The u23 Europeans is an exciting challenge and an opportunity to put in a performance that reflects my own training as well as the hard work of those who have supported me.”
