New Garden Fence & Gate Installation Review

We had a new wooden fence and gate installed by JDS and we were very pleased with the service provided. The staff were helpful and friendly, providing a free visit and subsequent quotation for the work required. The fence was installed professionally and quickly, with a high level of workmanship. Even when I realised a small item had been missed, a closer spring for the gate, JDS were quick to respond to my follow up email and sent someone out to add this. We're really happy with the end result and would definitely recommend JDS to others looking for similar services.

"Excellent and modern company. Josh runs a tight ship. From quote to job done to billing - everything ran like clockwork. We used JDS to remove some plants, install a fence, and put down some pebbles/gravel. The guys turned up when they said they would and went the extra mile to ensure the job was done to a high standard (e.g. treating fence posts with bitumen to preserve the wood, laying a membrane beneath our pebbles to reduce weed growth), and that we were happy with the work done (e.g. trimming 20cm off every single fence panel to make sure it was the height we wanted). All without a grumble, despite the snow(!) A great thing about this company is they send out teams of 2-3 guys to do the work, which means things are completed quickly. Very impressed. Would definitely use again."

"JDS Gardening took down an old garden fence and replaced it with a new one, which was build from scratch rather than with panels.
From the start when a surveyor came out to inspect the site right to the end when the finished product was handed over JDS was very professional. They were on time, even pulled the project forward a bit. There were updates throughout and the site was left very tidy.​ With regards to the fence, they couldn't have done a better job. It is super solid, will last for a long time and even looks much better than the old one. I couldn't fault them at all."

The JDS garden fencing teams have recently carried out the ​installation of a single sided vertical slatted fence for a domestic client in the Colinton area,
this fencing project included removal of the old garden fence and a small tree from the garden. Once the ground had been prepared the team set about installing 47 meters of new slatted fencing and a brand new garden gate.
