"Hi, my outdated IT equipment has not allowed me to link to your
appraisal page on the internet. Anyway, I would like to say that I initially contacted a "trusted trader" who neither responded to my email enquiry or subsequent phone call to their answering service. This is no way to run a business, and they rightly lost an order. From my own experience, good customer service is the best way for a firm to show its committment to the public. Fortunatley, I found JDS gardening services and have been most impressed by your excellent customer attention and communication. Both jobs - hedge removal & installation of a fence - were carried out with the great efficiency by pleasant young men with good communication skills. Payment arrangements have been straightforward and uncomplicated, and your presentof a JDS mug a very nice gesture. (I 'presented' the hedge removers with a good quality Mattock that I no longer require.) All in all, I rate your service at five star quality, and will certainly return to use some of your other services. Best wishes for settling in at your new location and expanding accordingly. My job was quite small - a small tree needed straightened and properly supported. I've had a few gardeners try to do it and fail. So I needed tree experts. JDS sent Liam and Louis who straightened the tree and put a rabbit-, fox- and badger-proof fence round it.
There is a minimum call-out charge, so the guys continued working for the time that was paid for. There were several jobs I got them to do - like pruning, and clearing flower beds and then putting a layer of mulch on them, The garden looks great. And all this was done on a very wet day - with not a word of complaint. I could not be more pleased with my dealings with JDS. A really professional local company." We used JDS to remove some plants, install a fence, and put down some pebbles/gravel. The guys turned up when they said they would and went the extra mile to ensure the job was done to a high standard (e.g. treating fence posts with bitumen to preserve the wood, laying a membrane beneath our pebbles to reduce weed growth), and that we were happy with the work done (e.g. trimming 20cm off every single fence panel to make sure it was the height we wanted). All without a grumble, despite the snow(!) A great thing about this company is they send out teams of 2-3 guys to do the work, which means things are completed quickly. Very impressed. From the start when a surveyor came out to inspect the site right to the end when the finished product was handed over JDS was very professional. It is super solid, will last for a long time and even looks much better than the old one. I couldn't fault them at all." JDS have really stepped up to the mark for us. They deliver pre-planted pots to the door and are incredibly easy to deal with. They are efficient, friendly and great at keeping us up to speed on delivery times. The first set of JDS pots were ablaze with colour for two or three months and mum loved them. She talked about them every day when we were on the phone to her. Our next set of pots is about to arrive and I have every expectation that she will love them too. The team attended regularly over that period, having prioritised the large amount of required work into a logical order for attention. At each stage we received communication about appointment times etc. and they set clear expectations of what would be achieved in each visit, matched against our original quotation. The team members are friendly, polite, punctual and they arrive and just get stuck into the task at hand with no time wasted. It has been a great experience. We are continuing to use their maintenance services on a regular 2 weekly pattern, where they visit at a pre-arranged time and ensure the garden is all kept tidy and up to scratch.
